FIONA MCDEVITT COMING OCTOBER 2016 TO THE CORK THERAPY CENTRE.
Fiona will be starting with us on Wednesday the 12th October and taking over Cranio-Sacral Therapy from our departed friend Judith Monk. Fiona is one of the therapists that Judith herself used to recommend when she was holidays and also when she was sick last May. We are delighted to offer this service again to all our patients. Below is a Bio on Fiona and her experience.

Chartered Physiotherapist & Cranio-Sacral Therapist
Fiona is a fully licensed, insured and practicing chartered physiotherapist and Craniosacral therapist.
Fiona obtained her Honors Degree in Physiotherapy at Trinity College Dublin in 1995 and is also licensed to work in Canada and Australia. Fiona has gained great experience working abroad and in Ireland mainly in the private practice setting and also in managerial roles and hospitals.
As an adjunct to her physiotherapy she has studied and trained as a Cranio-Sacral Therapist, qualifying in 2007. Craniosacral Therapy (CST) allows for a deeper level of healing, enhancing the power of touch, and works extraordinarily well with physiotherapy. This combination has allowed Fiona to see and treat each patient as an individual and give them the appropriate attention and treatment to facilitate their unique condition.
Fiona keeps abreast of best practice protocols, continuously up-skilling, and broadening her knowledge base. The approach she takes is very hands-on and her areas of special interest and experience include back and neck pain, posture, musculo-skeletal disorders, muscle imbalance, biomechanics, whiplash, foot problems, sports injuries, osteoporosis, chronic pain and cancer. Fiona also combines her experience in treating a variety of stress related conditions, anxiety, panic attacks and asthma among others.
As her main passion is horses Fiona, has trained as an Equine Craniosacral Therapist and treats a variety of conditions and problems that sometimes more conventional treatments have difficulty addressing.
