A big wecome to our new Physiotherapist! Breffni O’ Mahony, MISCP
Breffni graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) in 2015 with a BSc (HONS) Physiotherapy. He is a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists and is CORU registered.
Shortly after graduation Breffni moved to Vancouver, Canada where he worked in private practice, gaining experience in musculo-skeletal injuries, and a Spinal Cord Rehabilitation Hospital. He moved to Dublin in late 2017 and completed his rotations at St James’s Hospital, the largest teaching hospital in Ireland. Most recently he spent a year in New Zealand, gaining further experience treating various musculoskeletal conditions including neck, shoulder, knee and back before moving home to Cork.
Breffni has always lead an active life, growing up playing hurling, soccer and rugby. More recently he has been focusing his free time on golf and surfing. His treatment philosophy, including hands-on techniques and exercise prescription, reflects his passion for movement and getting his patients back
doing what they love.
